Editorial Board Network Analysis
Authors/Creators
Description
Analytical change: the journal-network Leiden resolution is now selected by the same rule as the editor network (highest weighted modularity across the grid 0.1–2.0; ties: smallest resolution), run separately on the journal graph. This replaces the fixed resolution of 0.5 used up to v2.1.6.
- Selected resolution 0.2: Q = 0.335, six communities (three singletons; multi-journal communities of 10, 6 and 3 journals). Previously Q = 0.295, nine communities.
- Changes Figure 4, output/communities/journal_* and the leiden_journal manifest rows only; no other result depends on the journal partition.
- New run_journal_resolution_sweep.R and public_results/tables/journal_resolution_sweep.csv (sensitivity of the journal partition to the resolution parameter).
- Figures 4–5 use official journal titles; Figure 5 panel tags A/B.
- Figure 4: legend lists the multi-journal communities from largest to smallest.
